CBS CONSUMER PRODUCTS PARTNERS WITH HASBRO AND UNIVERSITY GAMES
NEW YORK - February 15, 2008 - Television fans will have new ways to play along with their favorite characters through the introduction of games for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Brady Bunch," "Cheers" and "Happy Days," it was announced today by Liz Kalodner, Executive Vice President and General Manager of CBS Consumer Products.
Hasbro, a worldwide leader in family leisure time entertainment products, will launch DVD and co-branded games based on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," the top-rated television series. The first game is slated to debut in fall 2008.
University Games, one of America's fastest growing toy companies, will introduce "Brady Bunch," "Cheers" and "Happy Days" board games in the United States and Canada for fans of the legendary series.
"These deals are perfect examples of our strategy to mine CBS's deep portfolio of iconic television series across many game platforms," Kalodner said. "The innovative DVD and board games will create new ways for consumers of all ages to interact with their favorite television characters."
