CBS CONSUMER PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES NEW BRANDING FOR LICENSING OF ITS CLASSIC TELEVISION SERIES
New Initiative Brings More Than 150 Of The World's Most Iconic
TV Brands Including Cheers, The Twilight Zone, The Brady Bunch,
Happy Days and More Under One Banner
NEW YORK, June 09, 2008 - CBS Consumer Products, a division of CBS Entertainment, announced today a new branding initiative designed to bring together the greatest collection of classic TV icons ever assembled under one name - ‘Television City' - to the licensing community.
With well over 150 beloved shows including Mighty Mouse, Beverly Hillbillies, The Little Rascals, Dynasty, The Love Boat, Taxi, Rawhide and more, the new ‘Television City' banner will make one of the largest classic television libraries in existence more accessible to both consumers and retailers alike through distinctive packaging and signage programs. The first products under the banner are expected to hit stores in 2009.

"With over 150 iconic series, ‘Television City' will offer marketers, manufacturers and retailers the ability to engage millions of consumers through television's most-watched series, favorite characters and unforgettable moments."
The impact and power of the ‘Television City' brand will hit home in 2009 with milestone anniversaries for some of the most popular classic TV shows in history. Included among the shows celebrating anniversaries are The Twilight Zone (50th), The Brady Bunch (40th), Happy Days (35th) and Rawhide (50th).
