CBS PLACES FIRST IN VIEWERS; SECOND IN ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

CBS placed first in viewers and second in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, paced by another strong Sunday performance and across-the-(back)board victories on Friday and Saturday with the Network's coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for the week ending March 25, week 27 of the 2006-2007 television season.
For the week in viewers, CBS (11.44m) topped FOX (11.22m), ABC (8.98m) and NBC (7.36m). Season-to-date in viewers CBS (12.83m) is first, followed by FOX (10.20m), ABC (9.84m) and NBC (9.41m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, -0.1 behind FOX).
For the week in households, CBS (7.4/12) was +9% ahead of FOX (6.8/11), +25% ahead of ABC (5.9/10) and +51% ahead of ABC (4.9/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.1/13), outpacing ABC by +29% (6.3/10), FOX by +31% (6.2/10) and NBC by +33% (6.1/10).
CBS's Weekly Program Highlights:
CSI: MIAMI was first in households (11.6/19), viewers (17.66m), adults 25-54 (6.6/17) and adults 18-49 (5.4/14). CSI: MIAMI topped "What About Brian" and "The Black Donnellys" combined in households by +38% in households (vs. 8.4/14), +20% in adults 25-54 (vs. 5.5/14), +13% in adults 18-49 (vs. 4.8/13) and by +5.70m viewers (vs. 11.96m, +48%).
CSI TUESDAY SPECIAL (S) (R) won its time period for the second consecutive week in households (6.9/12), viewers (10.20m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08).
SURVIVOR: FIJI WEDNESDAY SPECIAL (S) was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (12.78m), adults 25-54 (5.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.2/12).
CSI: NY was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (13.64m), second in adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). Every first-run episode of CSI: NY has topped "Lost" in households and viewers since the ABC drama moved into the 10PM time slot.
-- Thursday, CBS was first in men 25-54 (5.5/16), men 18-49 (5.4/17), men 18-34 (5.2/19), second in households (6.9/12), viewers (10.48m), adults 25-54 (4.0/11), adults 18-49 (3.8/11) and adults 18-34 (3.6/12). CBS won every half-hour in the key men demos.
CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP THURSDAY 1 (S) (7:00PM-9:50PM) posted a 6.0/11 in households with 8.98m viewers. CBS scored a 3.2/10 in adults 25-54, 4.3/14 in men 25-54, 3.1/11 in adults 18-49, 4.2/16 in men 18-49, 3.0/11 in adults 18-34 and 4.1/17 in men 18-34. CBS was first in key men demos and second in households, viewers and key adult demos.
CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP THURSDAY 2 (S) (9:50PM-12:33AM) scored a 6.6/13 in households with 9.93m viewers. CBS posted a 4.0/12 in adults 25-54, 5.7/18 in men 25-54, 4.0/13 in adults 18-49, 5.7/19 in men 18-49, 3.9/13 in adults 18-34 and 5.8/21 in men 18-34. CBS was first in key men demos, second in households, viewers and key adult demos from 10:00-11:00PM. This is CBS's best delivery in this window in both adults 18-49 and men 18-49 since 2002, in adults 18-34 since 2003 and in men 18-34 since 2001.

CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY 1 (S) (7:00PM-9:45PM) posted a 5.4/11 in households with 8.13m viewers. CBS scored a 3.0/11 in adults 25-54, 4.2/15 in men 25-54, 2.6/10 in adults 18-49, 3.6/15 in men 18-49, 2.1/09 in adults 18-34 and 3.0/14 in men 18-34. CBS was first in households, viewers, key adults and men demos from 8:00-9:30PM.
CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY 2 (S) (9:45PM-12:07AM) scored a 6.3/12 in households with 9.41m viewers. CBS posted a 3.8/12 in adults 25-54, 5.1/16 in men 25-54, 3.4/11 in adults 18-49, 4.6/16 in men 18-49, 3.1/12 in adults 18-34 and 4.1/17 in men 18-34. CBS was first in households, viewers and key adults and men demos from 9:30-11:00PM.

60 MINUTES (7:38-8:38 PM) delivered an 8.1/14 with 12.63m viewers, 4.0/11 in adults 25-54 and 3.0/09 in adults 18-49. 60 MINUTES was first in households, viewers and adults 25-54 and second in adults 18-49 from 7:30-8:30PM.
THE AMAZING RACE: ALL-STARS (8:38-9:38PM) posted a 6.3/10 in households with 10.59m viewers, 4.1/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.3/08 in adults 18-49. THE AMAZING RACE 11 was first in households and viewers and tied for first in adults 25-54 (with ABC).
COLD CASE (9:38-10:38PM) posted an 8.7/14 with 13.91m viewers, 4.7/11 in adults 25-54 and 3.7/09 in adults 18-49. COLD CASE was first from 9:30-10:30PM in households, viewers and key demos.
