DAYTIME'S NUMBER ONE DRAMA, "THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS," CELEBRATES DECEMBER WITH GUEST STARS GALORE ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Renowned Psychic Sylvia Browne, Judge Glenda Hatchett and International Singing Sensation Il Divo To Appear

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, daytime's Number One drama for nearly 18 years, celebrates the month of December with an assortment of guest stars guaranteed to bring holiday joy to Genoa City.

Renowned psychic and best-selling author Sylvia Browne appears on Thursday, Dec. 7; Friday, Dec. 15 and Monday, Dec. 18.  Browne plays herself and helps Genoa City grande dame Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) investigate a mystery from her past.

Judge Glenda Hatchett appears on Thursday, Dec. 14.  Hatchett, star of the syndicated "Judge Hatchett," will be reprising the role of Judge Glenda Warren she previously played in September 2002.  Judge Warren oversees a case involving Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Gloria Fisher Abbott (Judith Chapman).

International singing sensation pop-opera quartet Il Divo will perform on Friday, Dec. 29. The group, which previously appeared on the show in August of 2005, will perform "Somewhere," during Katherine Chancellor's New Year's Eve party. 

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the Number One rated daytime drama for more than 17 years and is in its 34th season.  The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
