CBS SWEEPS WEEK IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

AFC Championship Game and the Largest Audiences of the Season for Eight Prime Time Series Drive CBS to the Highest Weekly Averages By Any Network For the Second Consecutive Week

CBS Extends its Season-to-Date Leads in Viewers and Adults 25-54 and Moves to Within 0.1 of a Rating Point From First in Adults 18-49

"Blue Bloods," "Criminal Minds," "Hawaii Five-0," "How I Met Your Mother," "Mike & Molly," "NCIS," "2 Broke Girls," and "Undercover Boss" All Deliver Largest Audiences of the Season

Network Has Eight of the Top 10 and 17 of the Top 20 Programs in Viewers

            CBS swept the week in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 with the best deliveries in these ratings measures by ANY network for the second consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 20.

            CBS's dominating win was driven by the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP, which attracted nearly 48 million viewers, and season highs for eight series: BLUE BLOODS, CRIMINAL MINDS, HAWAII FIVE-0, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, MIKE & MOLLY, NCIS, 2 BROKE GIRLS and UNDERCOVER BOSS.

            The Network has extended its season-to-date leads among viewers and adults 25-54 and is now within just 0.1 of a rating point from being first in adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.9).

CBS had four of the top five programs of the week, eight of the top 10 and 17 of the top 20 in viewers.  CBS had seven of the top 10 program in adults 25-54 and eight of the top 10 in adults 18-49.

For the week, CBS was first in households (9.4/15) and viewers (15.89m), with the best weekly performance in these measures by any network this season and the best by any network since the week ending August 12, 2012 (NBC's final week of the Olympics).  CBS posted the Network's best weekly delivery in these measures since the week ending Jan. 23, 2011.

  In viewers, CBS (15.89m) beat FOX (7.45m), NBC (5.83m) and ABC (3.73m).  Season-to-date in viewers:  CBS (11.73m), NBC (8.39m), ABC (7.88m) and FOX (6.78m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.3/13) and adults 18-49 (4.2/12).  CBS posted the Network's best weekly delivery in these measures since the week ending Feb. 12, 2012.  Compared to the same week last year (which did not include a primetime football game on CBS), CBS was up +59% in households, +71% in viewers, +83% in adults 25-54 and +100% in adults 18-49.  Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and a very close second in adults 18-49 (2.8/08, -0.1 behind NBC, its closest competitive position this season).

 In households, CBS (9.4/15) was ahead of FOX (4.4/07), ABC (3.8/06) and NBC (2.4/04).  Season-to-date in households:  CBS (7.4/12), NBC (5.2/08), ABC (5.0/08) and FOX (4.1/07).  

             CBS Weekly Highlights:

-- On Monday, CBS was first in households (6.8/10), viewers (10.89m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10), adults 18-49 (3.3/09) and adults 18-34 (2.2/07).  CBS posted its best Monday deliveries this season in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, and matched its second-best delivery this season in adults 18-34.  

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in households (6.5/10), viewers (10.51m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11), adults 18-49 (3.9/10) and adults 18-34 (3.4/11).  HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted its best deliveries in households and viewers since Dec. 5, 2011, its best adults 25-54 ratings since Feb. 20, 2012, its best adults 18-49 ratings since Feb. 6, 2012 and its best adults 18-34 ratings since Jan. 16, 2012. 

THE BIG BANG THEORY MONDAY SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (7.0/10), viewers (11.70m), adults 25-54 (4.7/10), adults 18-49 (3.7/09) and adults 18-34 (2.5/07), beating all first-run competition. 

2 BROKE GIRLS  was first in households (7.6/11), viewers (12.45m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12), adults 18-49 (4.1/10) and adults 18-34 (2.8/08).  2 BROKE GIRLS posted its best deliveries in both households and viewers since Dec. 12, 2011, in adults 25-54 since Feb. 6, 2012 and matched its season high in adults 18-49. 

MIKE & MOLLY was first in households (7.1/10), viewers (11.46m), adults 25-54 (4.7/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09).  MIKE & MOLLY posted its best deliveries of the season in both households and viewers as well as posted the season's second-best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings. 

HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in households (6.2/10), viewers (9.59m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06). 

-- On Tuesday, CBS was first in households (10.8/16), viewers (17.26m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07).  CBS posted its best Tuesday households delivery this season, its best viewers total since Sept. 25, 2012 and its second-best adults 25-54 Tuesday this season.  

NCIS was first in households (14.2/21), viewers (22.86m), adults 25-54 (5.8/14) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11).  Season-to-date, this is the #1 entertainment broadcast in total viewers.  NCIS posted its best household rating ever, its second-best viewers delivery (only 0.01m behind Feb. 1, 2011), its best adults 25-54 rating since Feb. 7, 2012 and its best adults 18-49 rating since Sept. 25, 2012.  NCIS beat NBC, ABC, FOX and CW combined in viewers by +62% (vs. 14.14m).  NCIS was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. 

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (11.1/17), viewers (17.64m), adults 25-54 (4.1/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES posed its second-best viewer delivery this season and matched the season's second-best adults 25-54 rating.  NCIS: LOS ANGELES beat NBC, ABC, FOX and CW combined in viewers by +60% (vs. 11.02m).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES was the night's #2 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, behind NCIS. 

VEGAS was first in households (7.2/12), viewers (11.27m) and adults 25-54 (2.6/06) and was second in adults 18-49 (1.6/04).  VEGAS posted its best viewers and adults 25-54 deliveries since Oct. 9, 2012. 

CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.1/12) and viewers (12.64m) and was third in adults 25-54 (3.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.9/07).   Compared to the last first-run episode (on Dec. 12, 2012), CRIMINAL MINDS was up +8% in households (from 7.5/12), even in adults 25-54 and added +630,000 viewers (from 12.01m, +5%).  CRIMINAL MINDS posted its largest audience since May 16, 2012's 2011-2012 season finale. 

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (7.4/12), viewers (11.14m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/06).

THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) (8:00-8:31 PM) was second behind the Thursday premiere of "American Idol" in households (7.2/12), viewers (11.64m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11), adults 18-49 (3.2/09) and adults 18-34 (1.9/06).  Through Thursday, THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered more viewers than any program on the competition this week except both "American Idol" premieres and outrated all the competition's programming in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 except for the "American Idol" premieres and "Modern Family." 

On Friday, CBS was first in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.58m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05).  CBS won every half-hour in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.  CBS posted its best household delivery on a Friday with regularly scheduled programs since Feb. 10, 2012, in viewers since Sept. 23, 2011, in adults 25-54 since Feb. 17, 2012 and in adults 18-49 since April 6, 2012.

UNDERCOVER BOSS was first in households (6.0/10), viewers (9.45m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06).  UNDERCOVER BOSS posted its best households delivery since Feb. 12, 2012 (its Friday premiere), its best viewers performance since March 9, 2012 and its best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since Nov. 9, 2012.  UNDERCOVER BOSS posted the night's best delivery in adults 25-54.   

CSI: NY was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.68m), adults 25-54 (2.5/06) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05).  CSI: NY posted its best household rating since Feb. 10, 2012, matched its best performance this season in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, and posted the season's second-best viewers total. 

BLUE BLOODS was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (11.65m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and adults 18-49 (1.5/05).  BLUE BLOODS posted its best households ratings since Nov. 30, 2012, its best viewers delivery since Feb. 10, 2012, its best adults 25-54 ratings since Feb. 24, 2012 and matched its second-best adults 18-49 ratings this season.  BLUE BLOODS posted the night's best deliveries in households and viewers. 

On Sunday, CBS, with AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON CBS "Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots"(S) (6:42-9:49 PM), was first in households, viewers and key men and adult demographics.  From 7:00-11:00 PM, CBS was first in households (21.5/33), viewers (39.74m), adults 25-54 (16.0/34), adults 18-49 (13.8/33), adults 18-34 (11.9/33), men 25-54 (20.1/42), men 18-49 (17.2/41) and men 18-34 (15.0/40).  From 7:00-11:00 PM, CBS posted the best prime deliveries for the network since Jan. 23, 2011 (AFC Championship Sunday) in households, viewers, key adults and men demos. 

TheAFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON CBSscored a 25.5/39 in households with 47.71m viewers, 19.3/41 in adults 25-54, 16.8/41 in adults 18-49, 14.6/40 in adults 18-34, 24.5/50 in men 25-54, 21.2/49 in men 18-49 and 18.6/49 in men 18-34.  The AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON CBSscored this season's best primetime deliveries of any broadcast in households, viewers and key adult and men demos.   

The AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME POST GAME SHOW(S) (9:53-10:16 PM) posted a 14.5/22 in households, 10.5/22 in adults 25-54, 9.1/21 in adults 18-49, 7.5/20 in adults 18-34, 12.6/26 in men 25-54, 10.8/25 in men 18-49 and 9.2/25 in men 18-34. 

HAWAII FIVE-0 SPECIAL 1/20(S) (10:16-11:16 PM) scored 7.8/13 in households with 13.03m viewers, 4.5/10 in adults 25-54, 3.5/09 in adults 18-49 and 2.6/08 in adults 18-34.  HAWAII FIVE-0posted its best delivery for an episode on any night (regularly scheduled or special) since Jan. 23, 2011 (episode after AFC Championship Game) in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and since Sept. 19, 2011 (Season 2 premiere) in adults 25-54.
