BLAKE SHELTON AND LUKE BRYAN RETURN TO CO-HOST THE “49TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® AWARDS,” TO BE BROADCAST LIVE FROM THE MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA IN LAS VEGAS SUNDAY, APRIL 6 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Florida Georgia Line to Host the “4th Annual Fan Jam” Remote Into The “49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards” From The Mandalay Bay Events Center In Las Vegas Sunday, April 6

ACM Television Special To Tape At The MGM Grand Garden Arena In Las Vegas Monday, April 7, To Air On CBS At A Future Date

           Four-time ACM Award winner Blake Shelton and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan will return to co-host Country Music’s Party of the Year®, the 49TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 6 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Produced by dick clark productions, this year’s show will be Shelton’s fourth consecutive turn and Bryan’s second hosting the Awards telecast.

           Reigning New Artist and New Duo of the Year Florida Georgia Line will host the 4TH ANNUAL ACM FAN JAM, which will take place at Mandalay Bay Events Center Sunday, April 6. This live remote location gives country music fans the ultimate pass to be a part of the “49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.” Throughout the telecast from MGM Grand, there will be live ACM Fan Jam performances, via remote, by Florida Georgia Line and other top-tier music acts. The ACM Fan Jam continues after the Awards telecast ends with a concert featuring Florida Georgia Line.  

The Academy and dick clark productions will once again tape an all-star concert television special Monday, April 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, featuring today’s top country acts and more. Talent announcements are forthcoming.  The special will air at a later date on CBS and ticket proceeds will benefit ACM Lifting Lives.  

The 49TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS is dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent in the country music industry. The show is produced for television by dick clark productions.  Allen Shapiro and R.A. Clark are executive producers. Barry Adelman is producer. Bob Romeo is executive producer for the Academy of Country Music.
