"STALKER" SWEEPS TIME PERIOD FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

CBS Wins Wednesday in Viewers and Adults 25-54

              CBS's freshman drama STALKER swept its time period for the second consecutive week, SURVIVOR posted weekly growth while CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's most watched broadcast, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, Oct. 8.(Live + 7-Day projections follow.)

At 10:00 PM, STALKER was first in viewers (8.13m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05).  Compared to last week's series premiere, STALKER retained 90% in viewers, 85% in adults 18-49 and 86% in adults 25-54.   STALKER is projected to climb +59% in adults 18-49 (+1.0 rating point) and +39% in viewers (to 11.3m) with 7-day viewing.

Earlier, at 8:00 PM, SURVIVOR was first in viewers (9.52m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08).  Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/09), even in adults 25-54 and added +30,000 viewers (from 9.49m). 

At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was first in viewers (10.49m) and second in adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07).  CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's most watched broadcast and is projected to add an additional +1.5 rating points in adults 18-49 (+64%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (9.38m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.1/07, -0.1 behind ABC).
