              MOM soared to series highs in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, a night following series stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney hosting THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Jan. 8.

At 8:30 PM, MOM was first in viewers (12.29m, up +23% from its last first-run episode on Dec. 18, 2014) and adults 25-54 (3.9), and was second in adults 18-49 (2.8, up +22% from 2.3 and just -0.1 behind "American Idol").   

MOM is the season's fastest-growing returning series, up +42% in viewers from a year ago.
