CBS MAKES IT NINE CONSECUTIVE WEEKLY WINS

Network Has Six of the Top 10 Broadcasts in Viewers and Four of the Top 10

The Season Finale of “Scorpion” Is the Week's #1 Drama

“Survivor” Posts Its Largest Audience Since December 2013

Season-to-Date, CBS Remains Within One-Tenth of a Rating Point of NBC
In Adults 18-49; First in Viewers and Adults 25-54

            CBS placed first in viewers for the ninth consecutive week and remained within one-tenth of a rating point of NBC in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 26.

Season-to-date through 31 weeks, CBS remains one-tenth of a rating point of NBC (2.4 vs. 2.5) in adults 18-49 while maintaining its lead among viewers to a +2.5 million advantage (11.37m vs. 8.83m) and +0.1 among adults 25-54 (3.2 vs. 3.1).  For the season, CBS is up +5% in viewers and even in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

            CBS had six of the week's top 10 programs among viewers, including the season finale of SCORPION, the week's #1 drama, and SURVIVOR, which attracted its largest audience since Dec. 4, 2013. CBS had the week's top five freshman series with SCORPION, MADAM SECRETARY, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS ENCORE, THE ODD COUPLE and CSI: CYBER SPECIAL. Rebroadcasts of NCIS and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS ENCORE delivered more viewers than any scripted program on the competition.

Among adults 18-49, CBS had four of the top 10 broadcasts, with THE BIG BANG THEORY as the week's #1 scripted broadcast and comedy, along with SURVIVOR, SCORPION and 2 BROKE GIRLS.

CBS Weekly Highlights:

 

SCORPION

  •  The season finale of SCORPION (10.71m) was second in adults 18-49 (2.2/06).  Compared to last week, SCORPION was up +11% in adults 25-54 (3.0/07 from 2.7/07), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06) and added +1.18m viewers (from 9.53m, +12%).  SCORPION posted its best deliveries in both viewers and adults 18-49 since Feb. 9 and best adults 25-54 delivery since Feb.23. 

 

NCIS: LOS ANGELES

  •  NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (8.83m), tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.4/04) and second in adults 25-54 (2.0/05, -0.1 behind ABC). 

 

SURVIVOR

  •  SURVIVOR was first in viewers (10.19m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and adults 18-49 (2.4/08), posting its largest audience since Dec. 4, 2013, its best adults 25-54 rating since the Feb. 25 premiere of this edition and matched the second-best adults 18-49 rating of this edition. 

 

THE BIG BANG THEORY

  •  THE BIG BANG THEORY (8:00-8:31 PM) was first in viewers (14.63m), adults 25-54 (5.0/16) and adults 18-49 (3.6/13) and was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. 

 

ELEMENTARY

  •  ELEMENTARY was first in viewers (7.73m), adults 25-54 (1.9/05) and adults 18-49 (1.3/04).  Compared to last week, ELEMENTARY added +170,000 viewers (from 7.56m, +2%).
