CBS WINS IN VIEWERS FOR THE SEVENTH TIME IN EIGHT WEEKS

Network Up +18% in Viewers and +33% in Adults 18-49 Versus Same Week Last Year

Number Two-Ranked “60 Minutes” Clocks Its Most-Watched Broadcast in Nearly a Year

“NCIS” is the Top Scripted Program and Drama

“The Big Bang Theory” is the #1 Comedy

“Supergirl” is the #1 New Drama

“Life in Pieces” is the #1 New Comedy

            CBS won the week in viewers for the seventh time in season’s first eight weeks and was the only network to post year-to-year growth in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 15, Week Eight of the 2015-2016 season.

            CBS was up +18% in viewers (10.24m from 8.65m), +33% in adults 18-49 (2.0 from 1.5) and +23% in adults 25-54 (2.7 from 2.2).

The Network had12 of the top 20 broadcasts and nine of the top 10 scripted broadcasts in viewers with NCIS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, MADAM SECRETARY, BLUE BLOODS, SCORPION, THE GOOD WIFE, CRIMINAL MINDS and HAWAII FIVE-0. 

           60 MINUTES, America’s #1 news program, ranked second among all primetime programs with an average of 18.1 million viewers, its largest audience since Nov. 30, 2014.  

NCIS was the week's top scripted program and drama, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's top comedy, SUPERGIRL was the week's #1 new drama and series, and LIFE IN PIECES was the week's #1 new comedy.
