"As the World Turns" to Air Its Final Episode Friday, Sept. 17

New Episodes of the #1 Daytime Show, "The Price is Right," and "Let's Make a Deal" to Air Sept. 20-Oct. 8

The #1 Daytime Drama, "The Young and the Restless," Reprises Powerful Episodes That Are Emotionally Relevant to Its Current Story, Oct. 11-15

            The CBS Television Network announced revised daytime schedule for the 2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT period from Sept. 20 - Oct. 18, the weeks between the finale of AS THE WORLD TURNS on Friday, Sept. 17, and the premiere of THE TALK on Monday, Oct. 18, which will include original episodes of the #1 daytime show, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, LET'S MAKE A DEAL, and encore THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS episodes that are emotionally relevant to current stories on the #1 daytime drama.      

            The REVISED air schedule is as follows:

            Regularly scheduled episodes of THE PRICE IS RIGHT, LET'S MAKE A DEAL and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS will continue to air in their regular time periods.

            THE PRICE IS RIGHT, the longest-running game show in television history, is hosted by Drew Carey.  Produced by FremantleMedia North America, THE PRICE IS RIGHT is broadcast weekdays on the CBS Television Network. 

LET'S MAKE A DEAL is produced by FremantleMedia North America.  Mike Richards ("The Price is Right") is the executive producer.  The one-hour show is broadcast weekdays (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the #1-rated daytime drama for more than 21 years.  The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM, ET; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, PT) on the CBS Television Network, and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company in association with Sony Pictures Television. 

THE TALK is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur.  The co-hosts-all moms whose children range in age from infant to adult-will swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home with events from the headlines and their own homes through the lens of motherhood.  Brad Bessey, Gilbert, who developed the show, and John Redmann are executive producers.
