CBS DAYTIME CELEBRATES MOTHER'S DAY THE WEEK OF MAY 5

“The Talk,” “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right” Will Each Have Special Episodes Dedicated To Moms

CBS Daytime celebrates Mother’s Day with special episodes dedicated to moms, on THE TALK, during the week of May 5-9, and on THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET’S MAKE A DEAL, on Friday, May 9, on the CBS Television Network.

THE TALK counts down to Mother’s Day with its annual “Mother’s Mystery Week,” featuring surprise celebrity appearances all week long, beginning Monday, May 5 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT). Throughout the week, the mother of a surprise celebrity guest will join the ladies of THE TALK at the table. The hosts will ask the mom questions to try to guess the identity of her celebrity offspring. After each host makes her final guess, the famous guest will join his/her mother on stage. Also, THE TALK will feature last minute Mother’s Day-themed gift ideas for Mom with lifestyle expert Chi Lan-Lieu.

On Friday, May 9, LET’S MAKE A DEAL recognizes Mother’s Day by showering moms in the audience with gifts, including a bouquet of roses and a body care beauty package. Mothers watching at home have a chance to win the beauty package online at www.cbs.com/deal. Other featured prizes include trips to Antigua, New York City, Napa Valley and a spa trip to Florida. In addition, moms in the audience have the opportunity to take home health and fitness prizes and a custom closet system filled with designer shoes.

Daytime Emmy Award-winning game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT, daytime's #1-rated network series and the longest-running game show in television history, is celebrating Mother’s Day onFriday, May 9 (11:00-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) with a special themed episode. An audience filled with mothers and their children will have the opportunity to play in pairs and win prizes perfect for Mom, including state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, relaxing vacations to Fiji, Italy and British Columbia and new cars. Plus, announcer George Gray’s mom, Mai Gray, makes a special appearance and invites one lucky duo to “Come On Down.”
