CBS CORPORATION DIVISIONS GARNER 14 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD NOMINATIONS

Recognition Across Three Divisions –

SHOWTIME, CBS Television Network and CBS Films –

Includes Nominations in Categories of Best Television Drama (“Homeland”),

Best Television Comedy (“The Big Bang Theory” and “Episodes”)

And Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical (“Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”)

Los Angeles, Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 – This morning CBS Corporation earned 14 Golden Globe Award nominations across three divisions – SHOWTIME, the CBS Television Network and CBS Films.

SHOWTIME series “Homeland” led all TV series with four nominations, and CBS Films received its first-ever Golden Globe Award nominations, earning three for “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” in key categories.

SHOWTIME received seven nominations: Best Television Series – Drama (“Homeland”), Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama (Claire Danes in “Homeland”), Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama (Damian Lewis in “Homeland”), Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical (“Episodes”), Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical (Don Cheadle in “House of Lies” and Matt LeBlanc in “Episodes”) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Mandy Patinkin in “Homeland”).

The CBS Television Network earned four nominations: Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical (“The Big Bang Theory”), Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama (Julianna Margulies in “The Good Wife”), Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical (Jim Parsons in “The Big Bang Theory”) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Archie Panjabi in “The Good Wife”).

CBS Films garnered three nominations:  Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical (“Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”), Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical (Emily Blunt in “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical (Ewan McGregor in “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”).
