“THE TALK” SWINGS INTO THE BIG APPLE FOR A WEEK OF HOLIDAY-THEMED SHOWS, DEC. 9-13

Highlights Include Legendary Singer Aretha Franklin and Country Music Star Garth Brooks

CBS’s Daytime Talker Will Return to the Big Apple for the Fifth Time, Broadcasting from Chelsea Studios

THE TALK swings back into New York City for a week of holiday episodes, to be broadcast Monday, Dec. 9 - Friday, Dec. 13(2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT),on the CBS Television Network. THE TALK, marking its fifth visit to the Big Apple, will be originating from Chelsea Studios.

Throughout the week, THE TALK co-hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler will welcome celebrity guests, including a performance by the legendary Grammy Award-winning singer Aretha Franklin and appearances by Grammy Award-winning country music star Garth Brooks and Tony Award-winning actress Idina Menzel. In addition, THE TALK will feature special holiday-inspired cooking segments with celebrity chefs Sandra Lee, Scott Conant and Lidia Bastianich. The full guest and programming lineup for the week of Dec. 9-13 will be announced at a later date.
