HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (October 22, 2009) - The classic, award-winning spy show returns with a bang when MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: THE FINAL TV SEASON makes its explosive DVD debut as a collectible set on November 3rd from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: THE FINAL SEASON offers a stunning picture and superior sound.  The brilliant picture quality was made possible by using the original camera negative to do an HD transfer and extensive digital restoration.  A brand new 5.1 audio mix was performed using the original audio elements for brilliant sounding audio.  The set also offers TV purists a second audio stream featuring the original mono tracks.

The original inspiration behind the blockbuster film franchise, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE chronicles the action-packed adventures of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) - a group of extraordinary spies -- as they take on the most hazardous of espionage missions against evil.   The final season features 22 edge-of-the-seat episodes, each beginning with the famous tape-recorded message outlining the latest secret assignment for the IMF team to embark upon.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE stars an iconic, award-winning cast including Peter Graves in his Golden Globe®-winning* role, Greg Morris and Lynda Day George in their Emmy®-nominated** roles, as well as Peter Lupus and Barbara Anderson.
