Campy Animated Classic Soars Onto Three-Disc DVD Set January 5th

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (December 17, 2009) - Television's smallest, yet most powerful, caped crusader is back to save the day when MIGHTY MOUSE: THE NEW ADVENTURES, THE COMPLETE SERIES soars onto DVD January 5 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.  Marking the first official DVD release, the three-disc collection features every digitally-remastered episode of the series; three original, beautifully restored Terrytoons Mighty Mouse cartoons from the vaults; episodic teasers; and all new audio commentaries and interviews with some of the biggest names in animation.

MIGHTY MOUSE: THE NEW ADVENTURES has been a cult favorite since its original airing in the late 1980s.  Featuring some of animation's biggest and brightest including producer Ralph Bakshi (Fritz the Cat), John Kricfalusi (The Ren and Stimpy Show), Bruce Timm (Batman Animated) and Andrew Stanton (Wall-E), the collection includes all new interviews and commentaries from the animators about their time on the hilarious show.

A reimagined, updated version from the original character from the 1940s, MIGHTY MOUSE: THE NEW ADVENTURES is hilarious, campy and unforgettable, as the lead character finds himself as a factory worker named Mike Mouse who, along with his sidekick Scrappy and his love-interest Pearl Pureheart, protects Mouseville from evil villains and saves the day.  This collection also includes the controversial, rarely seen episode,
"The Littlest Tramp," which eventually led to the premature cancellation of the series.

MIGHTY MOUSE: THE NEW ADVENTURES, THE COMPLETE SERIES will be available for the suggested retail price of $46.99 US and $52.99 CAN.

A three-disc set, the episodes are presented in the original 4:3 aspect ratio with English Original 2.0 Mono. The DVD is not rated in the U.S. and rated G in Canada.  The total running time is approximately 455 minutes.  The DVD disc breakdown is as follows:
