CBS INTERACTIVE RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS WEBBY AWARD NOMINATIONS FOR CHOW, CNET, GAMESPOT AND METACRITIC

SAN FRANCISCO, April 10, 2012 – CBS Interactive has been nominated for three Webby Awards and received Honorable Mentions in an additional three categories, it announced today. Hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile and apps.
CBS Interactive's Webby Awards nominations include:
Starting April 10, millions of people around the world will help decide who takes home a Webby by voting for the nominated work in the Webby People's Voice Awards. The public has until April 26 to vote at http://www.webbyawards.com.
In addition to the nominations, CBS Interactive was given the following official Honoree distinctions:
Winners will be announced on May 1 and honored at a ceremony in New York City on May 21, where they will deliver the infamous five-word speeches.
