"CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING" ENJOYS ITS LARGEST NOVEMBER SWEEP MARGIN OF VICTORY IN OVER 10 YEARS AND REMAINS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS BROADCAST
CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING with Charles Osgood enjoyed its largest November sweep margin of victory in both households and viewers since 1994 and in adults 25-54 since 1995. In the sweep, SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/10 household rating with 4.95m viewers and 1.5/08 in adults 25-54. Compared to last November, SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in households (from 3.4/10), +5% in viewers (from 4.72m) and is even in adults 25-54.
On Nov. 25, 2007, SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.6/11 with 5.15m viewers, 1.6/09 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same week last year, SUNDAY MORNING was up +6% in households (from 3.4/10), +11% in viewers (from 4.66m) and +14% in adults 25-54 (from 1.4/08).
On Nov. 18, 2007, SUNDAY MORNING's annual food broadcast posted a 3.7/11 with 5.25m viewers, 1.7/09 in adults 25-54. This was SUNDAY MORNING's best delivery in both households and viewers since April 15, 2007 and in adults 25-54 since May 20, 2007. Compared to the same week last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +12% in households (from 3.3/10), +16% in viewers (from 4.53m) and +21% in adults 25-54 (from 1.4/08).
Both weeks, SUNDAY MORNING was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54. Season-to-date, SUNDAY MORNING has its largest lead in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since 1994-95. SUNDAY MORNING is averaging a 3.4/10 with 4.67m viewers, 1.5/08 in adults 25-54, and is up +3% in households (from 3.3/10), +1% in viewers (from 4.64m) and is even in adults 25-54 compared to last year.
This weekend, SUNDAY MORNING profiles five-time Oscar winner Francis Ford Coppola and actor Josh Brolin, who is enjoying rave reviews for his performances in four critically acclaimed films this year.
