Television year-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is the only network evening news broadcast to post ratings gains in households (4.2/08 from 4.0/08, +5%), viewers (6.13m from 5.93m, +3%) and adults 25-54 (1.5/06 from 1.4/06, +7%).

            The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY remains the only network evening news broadcast to post year-to-year viewer gains (5.51m from 5.45m, +1%) for the week ending June 22, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The CBS broadcast also posted a 3.7/08 in households and a 1.3/05 in adults 25-54.
