The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY was the only network evening news broadcast to post year-to-year ratings gains for the week ending June 29 among households (3.8/08 from 3.7/08, +3%), viewers (5.70m from 5.50m, +4%) and adults 25-54 (1.4/06 from 1.3/05, +8%), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY gained 200,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
Television year-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is the only network evening news broadcast to post ratings increases among households (4.1/08 from 3.9/08, +5%), viewers (6.12m from 5.92m, +3%) and adults 25-54 (1.5/06 from 1.4/06, +7%).
