SCOTT PELLEY INTERVIEWS MAYOR RAHM EMANUEL ABOUT THE RISE IN VIOLENT CRIME, EDUCATION REFORM AND JOB CREATION

         Scott Pelley will anchor the CBS EVENING NEWS (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) live from Chicago tonight, July 9, where he will interview Mayor Rahm Emanuel about the rise in violent crime across the city, education reform and job creation.

         Also tonight on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY, CBS News Correspondent Dean Reynolds visits the Cook County Trauma Unit, one of the busiest in the country, and reports on the innocent people of Chicago caught up in gang-related violence. Reynolds also speaks with a man who has been shot 17 times in three separate incidents.
