TELEVISION YEAR-TO-DATE, THE “CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY” REMAINS THE ONLY NETWORK EVENING NEWS BROADCAST TO POST RATINGS INCREASES, UP +5% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +3% IN VIEWERS AND +7% IN ADULTS 25-54
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is the only network evening news broadcast to post year-to-year ratings gains for the week ending July 6 among households (3.9/08 from 3.7/08, +5%) and viewers (5.92m from 5.62m, +5%), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is also the only network evening news broadcast to maintain its adults 25-54 rating compared to the same week last year.
Television year-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY remains the only network evening news broadcast to post ratings increases among households (4.1/08 from 3.9/08,+5%), viewers (6.12m from 5.92m, +3%) and adults 25-54 (1.5/06 from 1.4/06, +7%).
