“CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD” IS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM IN HOUSEHOLDS, VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54
TELEVISION YEAR-TO-DATE CBS SUNDAY MORNING IS UP +3% IN HOUSEHOLDS AND +8% IN ADULTS 25-54
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for July 29, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.1/09 with 4.31m viewers and 1.2/06 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +9% in adults 25-54 (1.2/06 from 1.1/06) and even in households compared to the same day last year.
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (3.6/10 from 3.5/10), +8% in adults 25-54 (1.4/07 from 1.3/07) and on par in viewers (5.12m from 5.14m) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Lee Cowan’s cover story looking at the cars that helped shape modern American history; Conor Knighton’s segment on the 100th anniversary of the Beverly Hills Hotel; Rita Braver’s chat with “Judge Judy” star Judith Sheindlin; and Steve Hartman’s visit with a 90-year-old disc jockey in Chattanooga, Tenn., who has been using his radio program as a way to find the city’s lost pets.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
