Kris Doubledee, a Winnipeg bus driver, will discuss his act of kindness that has sparked international attention in a live interview tomorrow, Sept. 22 on CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network.
Doubledee, 38, was driving his bus on Tuesday morning when he pulled over to give his shoes to a homeless man walking barefoot. He then continued his bus route in socks. Doubledee will be joined by Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz to share his motivation behind the selfless act and his reaction to the media attention he has received in his country and beyond.
