CBS OUTDOOR WINS BUS SHELTER CONTRACT WITH THE
SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT
New Business with SamTrans To Complement Existing Bus Advertising Contract
CBS Outdoor, a division of CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS), has won an exclusive contract with the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) for bus shelter advertising. The multi-million dollar agreement includes the construction of new bus shelters throughout the county and exclusive rights to advertising on those structures. The contract spans 15 years.
As part of the deal, CBS Outdoor will replace all of the existing 202 shelters over the next three years, many of which have reached the end of their useful life. The new shelters will be equipped with seats, interior lights and a place to post SamTrans information. CBS Outdoor will service and maintain the new shelters.

"The San Mateo market lacks traditional outdoor advertising media, and this program will complement our ongoing bus shelter programs in Marin and Contra Costa counties, and in the City of San Francisco."
This is the second contract that SamTrans has awarded to CBS Outdoor. In October, 2005 CBS Outdoor was selected by the transportation agency to continue its contract for all bus advertising services. Bus-side advertising has generated $11 million in revenue for San Mateo County over the last five years.
