As part of the rebranding of Viacom Outdoor’s U.S. operations to CBS Outdoor, the division announced today that the name change will include its Puerto Rican operations. The announcement was made by Ramón A. Rodríguez, General Manager, CBS Outdoor-Puerto Rico.

“The CBS name is world renown, and carries with it a legacy of quality and leadership,” said Rodriguez. “We are extremely proud to carry that name in our Puerto Rican operations, and we look forwarding to continuing to grow the company’s footsteps in this dynamic U.S. territory.”

In 2003, CBS Outdoor became the largest out-of-home media operator in Puerto Rico when it purchased Outdoor Media Displays Posters (OMDP), which gave the division access to more than 900 signs throughout the region. With the addition of Puerto Rico, CBS Outdoor has become the country’s largest outdoor media division operating in the Top 10 U.S. Hispanic markets.
