VERSATILE MUSICIAN RYAN ADAMS TO PERFORM “LIVE ON LETTERMAN” WEBCAST, MONDAY, DEC. 5
CBS Interactive Music Group’s award-winning concert webcast series, LIVE ON LETTERMAN, will feature multiple GRAMMY® Award nominee Ryan Adams in a live webcast concert from the world-famous Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT).
Adams will play music spanning his impressive career, including songs from October’s release of Ashes & Fire, which was released on PAX-AM/Capitol, debuted at #7 and continues to generate Adams’ most enthusiastic critical notices to date. Adams is the latest artist to perform as part of the LIVE ON LETTERMAN webcast concert series, which recently received a Media Vanguard Award from Advertising Age.

In addition, the show, presented by Windows Phone, is available live and on-demand through CBS properties, broadcast on select CBS RADIO stations, viewable live on CBS’s JumboTron in Times Square, as well as via a live audio stream on Radio.com’s mobile applications. Ryan Adams is a singer songwriter from Jacksonville, N.C. whose critically and commercially successful albums, both as a solo artist and with the Cardinals, have included Heartbreaker (2000), Gold (2001), Love Is Hell (2004), Cold Roses (2005) and Easy Tiger (2007), which Time magazine hailed as “a career breakthrough.” Adams is also the CEO of his own PAX-AM label, through which he has released numerous singles and last year’s Cardinals III/IV double album, among others. He is also an accomplished author, with two books, Infinity Blues and Hello Sunshine, released by independent publisher Akashic.
Currently, Adams is on a completely sold out North American tour supporting Ashes & Fire, which wraps up with shows at renowned music halls and theaters in the following cities: Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago and Minneapolis.
Adams’ LIVE ON LETTERMAN webcast will follow the taping of his performance on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, which will be broadcast later that evening (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
