97.1 AMP RADIO’S CARSON DALY SIGNS A MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH THE STATION
Announcement Made Following Two Years Of Increasing Ratings Success And Continuous Accolades For The Host And Station
Carson Daly, morning drive host on 97.1 AMP RADIO (6:00-10:00 AM, PT), has just signed a multi-year contract extension with the station, it was announced today by Kevin Weatherly, Senior Vice President, Programming, CBS RADIO and Program Director for 97.1 AMP RADIO. AMP RADIO, Los Angeles’ most popular pop radio station,* has been home to Daly’s morning program since January 2010.
During his tenure with the station, Daly has grown the morning show from eighth place overall to a solid third place position in the market with his target audience, adults 18-34*. AMP is the second most listened to station in Los Angeles during his four hour program.
Daly’s morning show focuses on the latest music, celebrity and entertainment news, and features the Daly Download, highlighting the top five most downloaded songs in SoCal.
