CBS SPECTACULAR AND TBS LOOK AT MLB’S STRETCH DRIVE ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 24

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR presents an hour-long special, MLB 2011: DOWN THE STRETCH, on Saturday, Sept. 24 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET), featuring the “MLB on TBS” studio team analyzing baseball’s stretch run.  TBS studio host Matt Winer is joined by Hall of Famers Dennis Eckersley and Cal Ripken, along with two-time World Series champion David Wells, to break down the pennant races and look ahead at the Postseason’s participants.  Turner Sports’ Tom Heitz is the producer.

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR TOUGHENS UP WITH PRO BULL RIDING ON SUNDAY, SEPT. 25

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR features bull riding’s Top 40 riders in the world on Sunday, Sept. 25 (5:00-6:00 PM; 3:00-4:00 PM in late NFL markets; taped 9/24) with the PBR BUILT FORD TOUGH SERIES DEWALT GUARANTEED TOUGH INVITATIONAL from Wichita, Kan.  This event is the 26th of 29 stops for the PBR series.  The season concludes Oct. 26-30 in Las Vegas with the crowning of the 2011 PBR World Champion. The World Finals are the richest bull riding event on the planet with the winner receiving the World Championship PBR Buckle and a $1 million bonus.  Craig Hummer, Ty Murray and Leah Garcia call the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports’ Steve Scheer is coordinating producer.
