“THE SEC ON CBS” FEATURES #3-RANKED LSU TAKING ON #11-RANKED FLORIDA ON SATURDAY, OCT. 6

NAVY AT AIR FORCE KICKS OFF DAY AT 11:30 AM, ET

           CBS Sports’ national college football coverage continues with a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 6 featuring *#3-ranked LSU taking on #11-ranked Florida (3:30 PM, ET).  The doubleheader begins with Navy at Air Force (11:30 AM, ET).

           Play-by-play announcer Spero Dedes along with analyst Steve Beuerlein handle the call from Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo. for Air Force-Navy.  Otis Livingston serves as reporter. Steve Scheer produces and Jim Cornell directs. 

           The CBS Television Network’s lead college football announce team of Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson call the action live from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. Tracy Wolfson serves as lead reporter. Craig Silver, the Network’s coordinating producer of college football, produces and Steve Milton directs.

           COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY, the Network’s pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, provides coverage throughout the day on CBS Sports with host Tim Brando, along with analysts Tony Barnhart and CBS Sports Network’s Aaron Taylor. Vin DeVito produces and Linda Malino directs. Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.

            After CBS Sports’ live SEC game coverage each Saturday throughout the season, CBS SPORTS NETWORK takes over with SEC TONIGHT (7:00-8:00 PM, ET), providing a recap of all the news, scores and highlights from around the SEC.

            In addition, CBS Sports will stream the LSU-Florida and Navy-Air Force games, as well as the entire 2012 SEC ON CBS football schedule live on CBSSports.com.
