CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR broadcasts COLLEGE FOOTBALL'S TEN GREATEST WIDE RECEIVERS Presented by Geico on Thanksgiving Friday, Nov. 23 (1:30-2:30 PM, ET). Who is the greatest college wide receiver of all time?  The names are all legendary in the annals of college football - from Fred Biletnikoff and Larry Elkins to Anthony Carter and Jerry Rice to Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson - and they will be at the center of this one-hour CBS Sports special that will rank the very best pass catchers and playmakers. The best ever college receivers to take the field will be chosen by the votes of Heisman Trophy winners, members of  the College Football Hall of Fame, selected media, collegiate athletic directors, and the voting public.  Join Super Bowl XXI MVP, NFL great and CBS Sports lead NFL analyst Phil Simms as he unveils the "Ten Greatest" and recalls the fantastic careers of each player through game footage and interviews with former teammates, coaches and other top receivers.  CBS Sports' Sellers Shy serves as the coordinating producer.

  

  

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR MOTORS ON WITH "LG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS" ON NOVEMBER 18

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR broadcasts the LG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS on Sunday, Nov. 18 (5:00-6:00 PM or 3:00-4:00 PM in late NFL ON CBS markets).  The LG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS will feature a new head-to-head format, which will have two riders at a time battling each other and cutting things down to a final round of three.  Nate Adams, the most consistent and decorated rider in freestyle motocross, has won this event the past four years.  Other contenders expected to take on Adams include Adam Jones, winner at X Games XIII two months ago, Mike Mason, or possibly Mat Rebeaud, trying to bring the championship back to Europe.  Cameron Steele, Jimmy Coleman, and Tes Sewell call all the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports' Ken Mack serves as the coordinating producer.
