MORE PEOPLE WATCH "THE NFL ON CBS" THAN ANY OTHER NETWORK DURING 2007 NFL REGULAR- SEASON

Through 17 weeks of the 2007 NFL regular-season, more people watched NFL games on CBS than any other network.  This is based on a cumulative analysis of Nielsen data.

 

The cumulative audience is based on Total Viewers (Persons 2+) who have watched at least six minutes of NFL game coverage since the start of the 2007 regular-season.

 

Through 17 weeks of the 2007 season (September 6-December 31, 2007), THE NFL ON CBS regular-season games were seen by an estimated 151.0 million viewers, +3% higher than FOX's 147.3 million viewers, +15% higher than NBC's 131.3 million viewers and +58% higher than ESPN's 95.6 million.

 

CBS's viewership in the 2007 season is +1% vs. the 2006 season (151.0 million vs. 149.2 million); FOX is up +1% (147.3 million vs. 146.5 million); NBC is down -5% (131.3 million vs. 137.7 million) and ESPN is off -4% vs. last season (95.6 million vs. 99.4 million).
