CBS SPORTS PRESENTS "JEEP KING OF THE MOUNTAIN SKI AND SNOWBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS" ON MARCH 29 AND 30

CBS SPORTS presents JEEP KING OF THE MOUNTAIN SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS on Saturday, March 29 (1:30-2:30 PM; taped 3/14-16) and JEEP KING OF THE MOUNTAIN SNOWBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS on Sunday, March 30 (1:00-2:00 PM; taped 3/14-16). Squaw Valley, Calif., site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, is one of the top winter sports destinations in the country and will host the final stop of the Jeep King of the Mountain championship series. The lineup includes U.S. snowboard legend Shaun Palmer, Squaw Valley's Nate Holland and Olympic medalist Seth Wescott. Skiers Casey Puckett and Tomas Kraus will battle in the ski competition vying for the lead and overall title. The renowned Squaw Valley resort will once again feature 48STRAIGHT, a jam-packed weekend of on-snow and off-snow activities such as ski and snowboard cross racing and halfpipe competitions, over a dozen live concerts, street parties, fashion shows, film festivals and environmental expos. Slightly Stoopid, Mickey Avalon and KY-Mani Marley are just a few of the top acts in the industry that will perform live at the music festival.  Trace Worthington, Kevin Delaney, Reggie Crist and Tracy Wolfson call the action for CBS Sports from Squaw Valley.  CBS Sports' Suzanne Smith serves as coordinating producer.

 

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR SUPERCROSS(ES) BORDER TO TORONTO FOR AMA SUPERCROSS ON SUNDAY, MARCH 30

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR crosses the border into Canada as Toronto's Rogers Center is the site for CBS Sports' broadcast of the MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS on Sunday, March 30 (12:00 Noon-1:00 PM, ET; taped 3/29).  The 12th race of the season and the only international stop, the AMA Supercross heads into the race with five different riders,  including Chad Reed, James Stewart, Kevin Windham, Davi Millsapps and Josh Hill, having won AMA Supercross class main events.  Reed, who is leading in overall points, is seeking his seventh win of the season, while Windham trails him by only 17 points in the standings.  Ralph Sheheen, Jeff Emig and Erin Bates call the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports' Bryan Lilley is the coordinating producer.
