CBS SPORTS' COVERAGE OF REEBOK GRAND PRIX HEADLINED BY ALL-STAR TRACK AND FIELD LINE-UP INCLUDING AMERICAN SPRINTER TYSON GAY AND CHINESE HURDLER LIU XIANG

CBS Sports broadcasts the fourth-annual REEBOK GRAND PRIX on Sunday, June 1 (1:30-2:30 PM, ET; taped 5/31/08) from Icahn Stadium in Randall's Island, N.Y.  The meet is one of the top two track-and-field events in the country and the third stop on the USA Track and Field's Visa Championship Series.

 

Two of the World's best sprinters, American Tyson Gay, the reigning 100-meter world champion and Jamaica's Usain Bolt, will face off in the 100-meters. Chinese superstar Liu Xiang, a gold medalist in the 2004 Olympics for the 110-meter hurdles and current world record-holder looks to defend his 2007 hurdles title.

 

 On the woman's side, the competition heats up with world-class sprinters Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica and American Lauryn Williams. The duo raced to a photo finish in the 100-meters at the 2007 World Championships.

 

CBS Sports' Carter Blackburn calls the action along with four-time Olympic medalist, Ato Boldon, two-time Olympic medalist, Dwight Stones, and two-time American record-holder Carol Lewis. Craig Silver produces and Suzanne Smith directs.
