CBS Sports will host a conference call on Wednesday, Sept. 3 (3:00 PM, ET/12:00, PT) featuring Sean McManus, President, CBS News and Sports and Executive Producer of THE NFL ON CBS,  as well as THE NFL ON CBS team of Jim Nantz, Phil Simms, , Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher,  Shannon Sharpe and Rich Gannon.

THE NFL ON CBS kicks off its 49th season with Week 1 coverage on Sunday, Sept. 7 (12:00 Noon-4:00 PM, ET) beginning with THE NFL TODAY, the Network's pre-game studio show, hosted by James Brown, with analysts Marino,  Esiason, Cowher, Sharpe, NFL Insider Charley Casserly, as well as reporters Lesley Visser and Sam Ryan, live from New York City.

The day's NFL games on CBS will feature regional action highlighted by  the New York Jets at Miami (1:00 PM, ET) with the lead announce team of  Nantz and Simms calling the action.  Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf will call the Kansas City-New England matchup.    Other games that day include Houston at Pittsburgh (Gus Johnson/Randy Cross), Cincinnati at Baltimore (Kevin Harlan/Rich Gannon) and Jacksonville at Tennessee (Ian Eagle/Solomon Wilcots).
