Florida-Alabama Earns Highest Regular Season
College Football Rating on CBS in 19 Years
CBS Sports national coverage of the SEC Championship game between Florida and Alabama on Saturday, Dec. 6 (4:00-7:30 PM, ET), which earned an overnight metered market rating/share of 10.4/21, was up +73% from last year's 6.0/12 for the SEC Championship featuring LSU and Tennessee.
The 10.4/21 is the best rating in the metered markets ever for the SEC Championship game since its debut in 1992 and is the highest-rated regular season college football game on CBS since 1989's USC-Notre Dame game (10.6). Florida-Alabama also is the highest rated non-bowl game on ANY network in the metered markets since 2006 (13.7/28 for Ohio State-Michigan on 11/18/06).
