(On Michigan State-Ohio State):

The Buckeyes are coming off a tough loss to Illinois and had trouble scoring particularly late in the second half. That will be a challenge against Michigan State, the best team in the Big Ten...The Spartans are deep. They are quick. And they have a terrific point guard in Kalin Lucas. Tom Izzo is able to use the depth to keep his team fresh and aggressive for 40 minutes. In the first meeting between these teams a couple weeks ago, Ohio State was able to stay around for a bit, but Michigan State pretty much controlled the game...With their depth and the ability of Lucas to control the game and the outside shooting from Durrell Summers and Chris Allen, Michigan State has a lot of the pieces you look for in a championship-caliber team. Not just for the Big Ten, but they are a team that could contend for a Final Four spot...Ohio State, being at home, has an opportunity to get another signature win on a pretty strong resume. So far, the Buckeyes have already beats Miami, Notre Dame, Butler and got a win at Michigan. This young Buckeye team is showing some promise.
