“SEC ON CBS” DELIVERS FIVE OF TOP 10 MOST-WATCHED COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMES OF 2014 SEASON

SEC Championship Is 2014’s Highest-Rated and Most-Watched
College Football Conference Championship Game

CBS Sports’ national coverage of the SEC ON CBS for the 2014 season is the highest-rated regular-season college football package on any network for the sixth consecutive season, averaging a national household rating/share of 4.0/9.  

CBS Sports’ coverage of the SEC ON CBS was highlighted by five of the Top 10 most-watched college football telecasts of the 2014 regular-season.

 

#3 - Alabama beating Missouri (12.8 million viewers; 12/6/14; SEC Championship)

#4 - Alabama beating Mississippi State (10.3 million viewers; 11/15/14)

#6 - Alabama beating LSU (9.2 million viewers; 11/8/14)

#9 - Alabama beating Florida (8.0 million viewers; 9/20/14)

#10 - Texas A&M beating Auburn (7.2 million viewers; 11/8/14)

 

CBS Sports’ national coverage of the SEC Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 6, which saw Alabama defeat Missouri, delivered an average national household rating/share of 7.8/17 and averaged 12.8 million viewers, making it the highest-rated and most-watched college football conference championship game of the 2014 season.
