“THE NFL ON CBS” THANKSGIVING DAY GAME IS MOST-WATCHED NFL GAME-TO-DATE IN 2015 SEASON ON ANY NETWORK

           CBS Sports’ Thanksgiving Day broadcast of Carolina vs. Dallas on Thursday, Nov. 26 (4:31-7:49 PM, ET), was the most-watched NFL game-to-date in the 2015 season on any network, with 32.5 million viewers (Persons 2+) according to Nielsen national ratings (Live + Same Day).  

In addition, Thursday’s Carolina-Dallas game was the most-watched Thanksgiving game of the day and most watched in 20 years for the AFC television package since 1995.  

The 32.5 million viewers is up +11% from last year’s 29.4 million (Chicago vs. Detroit; 12:39-3:56 PM, ET) and is the most-watched Thanksgiving Day game for the AFC television package since 1995 (35.7 million; Kansas City-Dallas, 11/23/95, 4:00-7:09 PM, ET, NBC).  Thursday’s viewership also was up +2% from last year’s comparable window (Philadelphia vs. Dallas; 32.0 million, FOX; 4:36-7:54 PM, ET).

Thursday’s game window peaked with an average of 34.7 million viewers from 5:30-6:00 PM, ET.
