Denver’s Win Over Carolina Earns Overnight Rating/Share of 49.0/73 in Metered Markets

CBS Sports’ coverage of SUPER BOWL 50 featuring the DENVER BRONCOS’ 24-10 win over the CAROLINA PANTHERS on Sunday, Feb. 7 (6:45-10:15 PM, ET), earned an average overnight household rating/share of 49.0/73, the second-highest-rated Super Bowl in the metered markets in history (as far back as records go - 1976).

            The SUPER BOWL 50 household rating/share peaked at 51.0/73 from 10:00-10:15 PM, ET.  Following is a breakdown of the ratings by half-hours.
