SURF'S UP FOR CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR WITH "U.S. OPEN OF SURFING" ON SATURDAY, JULY 9

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR hangs 10 with the U.S. OPEN OF SURFING on Saturday, July 9 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET; taped).  The U.S. Open of Surfing is the world's largest youth culture and action sports festival. More than 500,000 people attend along a 14-acre stretch of sand on the south side of Huntington Beach Pier.  The U.S. Open of Surfing showcases the best in surf, as well as skate, BMX, music, fashion and art.  All eyes will be on Huntington Beach local Brett Simpson who looks for a repeat championship.  Sal Masekela calls the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports' Kimani Morales serves as coordinating producer.
