CBS SPORTS PREVIEWS U.S. OPEN TENNIS ON SUNDAY, AUG. 28

CBS Sports, in anticipation of its coverage of the 2011 U.S. Open Tennis Championships, previews tennis' final major of the year and the only one played in the United States, with the U.S. OPEN PREVIEW SHOW on Sunday, Aug. 28 (1:30-2:00 PM, ET).  CBS Sports' Bill Macatee hosts the show and is joined by CBS Sports tennis analysts Mary Carillo, John McEnroe and Jim Courier to serve and volley who they think will win the women's and men's championships.  The half-hour special also takes a look back 20 years ago at the epic and surprising run of then 39-year-old Jimmy Connors during the 1991 U.S. Open, which included the unforgettable match between Connors and Jimmy Krickstein

CBS Sports presents the U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS for the 44th consecutive year, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 3 (11:00 AM-6:00 PM, ET) with men's and women's third-round action and concludes with the men's singles championship on Sunday, Sept. 11 (4:00 PM, ET). CBS Sports will broadcast over 37 hours of the 2011 U.S. Open from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
