THIS JUST IN...

...From CBS Sports Network

CBS Sports Network's football recruiting show, LEMMING REPORT, returns on Friday, Sept. 9 (7:00-7:30 PM, ET) and features a special sit-down interview with Justin Combs, a highly-recruited senior cornerback from Iona Prep (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and his father, media mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.  During the segment, Justin was presented with an official invitation to one of the nation's top high school football all-star games, the Semper Fidelis All American Bowl.

Excerpts from the interview:

(Justin Combs on transitioning from high school Quarterback to Cornerback)

I was able to use my athletic ability a lot more than at quarterback.  I just loved it.  I love locking down receivers, making plays and just hitting people.

(Sean Combs on Justin's recruiting)

When I've seen the various letters he's received and the calls that he's received, I've been blown away.  One of the things that I've tried to instill in him is to make sure that he goes to a place he feels that he can play.  He's going to have to deal with politics, but not too many politics.  And he's going to be able to prove himself.  Also most importantly, he's going to get a great education...The process has been great.  Everybody that we've dealt with has been extremely great, extremely nice, and they all really want him.  And that's a good feeling as a father.  I want to be just able to back him up...and just support him in any way possible.

(Sean Combs on his favorite NFL Player)

Ray Lewis is my favorite football player.  I just think his work ethic, his heart, his aggression on the field.  That's one of the things I try to make sure I instill in him (Justin).  If you're going to be on that field, you have to go all out.  Ray Lewis plays to win.

Molly Qerim hosts the show, along with the country's leading college football recruiting expert, Tom Lemming.  For more information about CBS Sports Network and to view the programming schedule, go to http://www.cbssportsnetwork.com/.
