CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR PROFILES ARMY AND NAVY VETERANS ON SATURDAY, NOV. 17 IN “FROM PHILADELPHIA TO FALLUJAH”

On Dec. 1, 2001, two teams played a less-than-ordinary 60 minutes of football. The annual Army-Navy game occurred just weeks after the attacks of Sept. 11, and the players on the field knew that they would soon graduate and head to war.  CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR presents FROM PHILADELPHIA TO FALLUJAH on Saturday, Nov. 17 (1:30-2:30 PM, ET), which profiles the journeys of three players in that game from their time as Cadets and Midshipmen to becoming officers leading the nation in war.  The one-hour special discovers where they are 10 years later and exposes their compelling journeys from tragic endings to new beginnings with incomparable nobility and honor. Derek McGinty narrates. CBS Sports’ Kimani Morales serves as coordinating producer.

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR UNCUTS “GAME DAY” ON SATURDAY, NOV. 17
