THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW RETURNS TO THE U.K.

October 19, 2005 Cannes, France – CBS Paramount International Television and ITV announce the return of THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW to television in the United Kingdom. ITV has licensed the program which will begin airing the 2005-2006 season of the show on ITV2 during the first quarter 2006. It was announced today by Armando Nuñez, Jr., President, CBS Paramount International Television and Zai Bennett, Channel Editor, ITV2.

“THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW has been entertaining and enlightening U.S. viewers for over 20 years and we’re glad to be able to once again share that with the U.K. audience,” commented Armando Nuñez, Jr.
