ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT: SOURCE: ARETHA FRANKLIN ASKED TO PERFORM AT WHITNEY HOUSTON'S FUNERAL
February 15, 2012 (Los Angeles) -- While the details for Whitney Houston's New Jersey burial are still being arranged, a source tells ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT exclusively that music mogul Clive Davis personally asked Whitney's godmother, R&B legend Aretha Franklin, to perform at the funeral taking place this Saturday.
When asked if this was a done deal, ET's source replied, "How could she say no?"
Houston's invitation-only funeral service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, the New Jersey church she grew up singing in.
