New York, NY – Mar. 1st – Peter Tork, bassist for The Monkees, speaks with INSIDE EDITION about the sudden passing of his dear friend and bandmember, Davy Jones. Tork says he was in the kitchen of his Connecticut home when a mutual friend called to tell him Davy had passed.

Tork tells INSIDE EDITION that Davy loved horses so much that he said when it was his time he wanted to die while riding.
TORK: “He said he wanted to go on his horse and he very nearly did. He was actually with a horse. And, I think about to climb on it when he said I don’t feel so good, and sat down and was gone…basically.”
