NEWEST JUDGE FOR AMERICA’S GOT TALENT TELLS INSIDE EDITION...
“I think I’ll be the gold standard. I think Jennifer Lopez, Randy and Steve need to watch the show and learn…that’s all.” – Howard Stern
To be broadcast in NYC on Fox 5 (WNYW) on Thursday, April 12 at Noon
New York, NY - April 11, 2012 - The newest judge on America’s Got Talent, Howard Stern, tells INSIDE EDITION that he’ll be the gold standard and that the judges from American Idol should learn from him.
INSIDE EDITION: “You’ve been pretty harsh on Jennifer Lopez. What do you think of her judging abilities?”
STERN: “American will get to see me as a judge. I think I’ll be the gold standard. I think Jennifer Lopez, Randy and Steve need to watch the show and learn...that’s all.”
Stern emphasizes that Lopez, who judges American Idol, must be more constructive.
INSIDE EDITION: “Do you think Lopez is a good judge?”
STERN: “Jennifer is laughing at herself. She’s a beautiful looking woman, but she’s hired to be a judge. Certainly, she must hear, that some of the people are not singing that well. And you got to willing to say it. It’s constructive. There’s nothing better than telling someone who can’t sing that it’s time to get another job.”
INSIDE EDITION is produced daily by Inside Edition Inc. and distributed by CBS Television Distribution.
