GABBY DOUGLAS ACCEPTS ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT'S INVITATION TO BE GUEST CORRESPONDENT  

August 8, 2012 (Los Angeles, CA) --  ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT caught up with 16-year-old gold-medal Olympic gymnast, Gabby Douglas, to surprise her with the offer to be a guest correspondent visiting the set of her favorite CW television show, The Vampire Diaries.

While speaking to Douglas in London, ET presented her with a specially-recorded congratulatory message from the cast of The Vampire Diaries. After watching the video, ET offered Gabby the chance to visit the set of her favorite show as a correspondent.  She enthusiastically replied, "Oh my God!  I accept!...Oh my gosh!  This is so exciting!"
