“WHEEL OF FORTUNE” TEAMS WITH WALMART FOR THIRD ANNUAL “SECRET SANTA SWEEPSTAKES”
Sweepstakes runs from Nov. 11 through Nov. 27
CULVER CITY, CALIF. (October 22, 2013) – Wheel of Fortune viewers and Walmart shoppers will have good reason to celebrate the start of the holiday season. Television’s top-rated game show has teamed up with the world’s number one retailer for Wheel of Fortune’s third annual “Secret Santa Sweepstakes.”
From Nov. 11 through Nov. 27, more than a half-million dollars in cash, cars, luxury vacations and Walmart shopping sprees will be up for grabs as part of the sweepstakes, where every in-studio contestant will become a “Secret Santa” to an at-home viewer.
To be eligible to win in the “Secret Santa Sweepstakes,” viewers are asked to join the show’s loyalty program, the Wheel Watchers Club, and obtain a SPIN ID number by Nov. 5. Each member is automatically assigned a unique, alpha-numeric SPIN ID Number.
If the viewer has a Wheel Watchers Club SPIN ID number, he or she will be eligible to win the exact same prizes won by the in-studio contestant.
Wheel Watchers Club members whose SPIN ID numbers are revealed will then log on to www.wheeloffortune.com within 24 hours of the broadcast to claim their prizes.
The sweepstakes SPIN ID reveal period spans “Walmart Family Week,” (Nov. 11 - Nov. 15) and “Secret Santa”-themed shows (Nov. 18 – Nov. 27) on Wheel of Fortune. All thirteen of these episodes will feature prizes on the Wheel from Walmart, including a $7,500 Walmart Gift Card or a $1,000 cash Gift Tag. Throughout the week, Wheel of Fortune will showcase prize package segments featuring Walmart products.
